Who are we
Walt and I have been happily married for over 32 yrs. We have 3 wonderful sons and 4 amazing grandsons! It is through raising them that we understood the importance of unlocking a child’s imagination and creativity.
All our children and their children have unique personalities from one end of the spectrum to the other. We have always encouraged them to live their own lives and be who they wanted to be.
My favorite quote to keep me going : “ Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve. “ –Napoleon Hill.
Why we are doing a blog
This site as well as Best Building Blocks for Kids are centered around the development of children, as well as, anyone young and older with disabilities.
It is important that they learn at an early ages to unlock their imagination and creativity through exposing them through listening, seeing, playing and discovering new things in their everyday environment. Today our children are thrust into electronics as early as 6 months old to engage all their senses and to held them prepare for what is to come.
That is why we decided to add this site to help parents understand what technology is out there to help them safely play and teach their children.
Electronics for Kids will engage them with electronic learning toys, and as they grow will engage them is electronic readers and tablets. Once they start school they can continue with smart watches and more sophiscated tablets like InnoTab, MobiGo and more as they are created.
Our first site, at Best Building Blocks for Kids explored learning through building. We showed kids and parents alike ways of playing with blocks as early as 6 months of age. Then expanding their creativity by showing them how they can re-acting their favorite movie or shows utilizing building and construction sets for both boys and girls alike.
We also how these simple toys have been used not only for play but in education for the young and as a rehabilitative tool for all ages. This hobby continues on in high school and college where many students use blocks in engineering, architecture and robotics.
Bottom-line…We need to encourage our future generations to play! Through play they will embrace exploration, feel confident about what they do and encourage them to explore even further.
Until we meet again!
